Here we go with posttt...
Got about 5 minutes more roughed out today! I have about 6 minutes cut total it's coming along really well I'm excited! I was struggling with the exposition/introduction of my subject and character. I was afraid it would be too boring or drawn out but I think I figured it out. Maybe I'll post some more stills on here soon!

That's a wrap!
Well since my other classmates are beginning to create blogs I guess I'm going to pick this one back up again and try to stay with it...I'm really bad with this stuff haha.
Last Wednesday I concluded all of my major shooting for my film and is also going to be the climax.
I traveled all the way to Washington DC for a rally that had about 5-6000 people in attendance with congressmen/women, mayors, and governors from all over the country who came to show their support. Great experience....Here are some pics
Now onto editing!!! I have my open cut right now but I'll see what else I can get done in time for class on Thursday...
I'll try to update this more!

Public Hearing

-Attended the public hearing yesterday in Cape Canaveral. A big thank you goes out to Donald, Corey, and John for helping me out! It was a pretty heated meeting I could only imagine what it's going to be like up in Jacksonville, FL today...I'll attach a little clip from one of the local news stations that were there.

Introduction

Hey all!
-I decided to create this little blog to document the process of creating my documentary...should be interesting haha. Well just to give a background on my subject I'm going to be documenting the proposed ban on Red-Snapper from the FL Keys to the Carolinas and it's potentially devastating impact that ban will have on the commercial fishing, charter fishing, and supporting industries on the East Coast. The film's going to document the efforts put forth by local fishermen to suspend this ban until another assessment is done to satisfy their scientific expectations. Their lively hoods are on the line - can they convince the govt. to stop the ban? We shall see. I'll be doing weekly updates on my progress from now until April/May when the film is completed.
Catch ya laterrr
